On March 17, 2025, we introduced a new PPL questionnaire structure. This update is not merely about simplifying the questions but is designed to enhance the quality of your conversations with clients and increase your chances of successful hires!

Why are we adjusting the questionnaire?

Previously, our questionnaire format was primarily multiple-choice-based, making it quick and easy for customers to fill out. However, we identified several limitations:

1. Lack of detailed customer information, making it difficult for experts to assess the suitability of potential clients.

2. Limited understanding of customer needs, reducing communication efficiency.

3. Minimal interaction opportunities, resulting in low response rates from clients after receiving quotes.

To address these issues, we have redesigned the questionnaire to encourage customers to provide more detailed descriptions of their needs, ultimately fostering more meaningful interactions between experts and clients, improving the overall success rate of quotes.


How does the new questionnaire benefit you?

More detailed client information

  • The revised questionnaire encourages customers to provide written descriptions of their needs rather than relying solely on multiple-choice options.
  • This ensures that you receive more precise and relevant information, reducing the likelihood of ineffective quotes.

What if I find it harder to understand clients with the new questionnaire?

We understand that some experts may be concerned about having fewer predefined questions, potentially making it harder to assess clients’ needs.

However, this update is designed not to reduce information but rather to enhance the quality of the conversation.

In the past, even though the questionnaire contained multiple questions, many customers simply selected options quickly without providing genuine insights into their actual needs.
The new questionnaire encourages customers to describe their requirements in their own words, allowing Pros to:
  

Better assess client intent and seriousness
Ask more targeted and relevant questions, rather than relying on predefined options
Engage in more effective discussions, creating stronger customer relationships

We firmly believe that this shift will help you connect with the right clients faster, leading to higher conversion rates and increased revenue.


Preparing for the Future: Transitioning towards a comprehensive pricing model

This questionnaire update also lays the foundation for the upcoming Comprehensive Pricing Model.
We aim to reinforce the importance of digitalized pricing in enhancing consumer experience, minimizing information gaps, and ultimately increasing successful transactions.

Why emphasize digitalized pricing ?

We found that many pros in the past provided generic promotional messages instead of specific pricing details, making it difficult for customers to compare different service offerings.

On the other hand, pros often invested a significant amount of time in customer communication, only to find that pricing mismatches led to customers ignoring their messages—wasting valuable time and effort.

To address this, our future direction includes:

Improving customer awareness of service pricing, reducing cases where clients engage in lengthy discussions only to discover that the price does not match their expectations.
Enhancing price transparency, allowing customers to gain a better understanding of market pricing before submitting inquiries, leading to a higher likelihood of successful bookings.
Helping experts effectively filter potential clients, minimizing unnecessary quote submissions and improving overall conversion rates.

We believe that this structured pricing mechanism will enhance the precision of expert-client matching, strengthening the platform’s competitiveness while optimizing your revenue potential.

 


How do we determine future updates to the questionnaire?

We acknowledge that some pros may prefer different sets of questionnaire questions for various services. We genuinely appreciate your valuable feedback.
However, since this update primarily focuses on improving pricing accuracy, our revision criteria are as follows:

1️⃣ If a specific question significantly impacts pricing accuracy (by more than 25%), we will consider incorporating it into the questionnaire.
2️⃣ If a question only affects minor pricing adjustments, we recommend using the upcoming "Update Quote" feature (coming soon), which will allow you to fine-tune your pricing after initial discussions with the customer.

In summary, the questionnaire serves as an initial price estimation tool, while fine-tuned pricing adjustments should be handled through direct client communication.
