(April 17, 2025)【Step 2 of Expert Changes】 Quotation File Update

To improve user experience and help experts deliver clearer and more professional service quotations, we are rolling out a major system upgrade.

We are now entering Step 2 of our PRO updates, which will go live on April 17, 2025, and will include the following key changes:


Our Intent

We believe this update is not only a technical improvement, but also a key step toward enhancing service quality. Through this update, we aim to:

  • Help PRO build a stronger, more professional personal brand

  • Make it easier for customers to find the right service and make quicker decisions

  • Create a clearer, more efficient, and trustworthy quotation process

 


Limitations of the Current System

Under the current system, a single quotation file often supports multiple service categories, which results in:

  • Overly broad quotations that lack specificity

  • Customers being unable to easily understand what is being quoted from a single message

  • Messages feeling generic or auto-generated, which reduces the sense of professionalism

This not only affects how customers interpret your service but may also reduce their confidence in your quotation—ultimately impacting your chances of being hired.

 

What’s Changing and Why It’s Better

1. One Service, One Quotation File

Each service category must now have its own dedicated quotation file. Quotation files can no longer be shared across multiple categories. This change brings several benefits:

  • Makes it easier for clients to understand the pricing for the specific service they need

  • Creates a cleaner, more structured message that improves customer experience

Reinforces your professional image and avoids the impression of automated messaging

2. More Detailed Quotations

Each quotation will correspond to a single service item, which helps:

  • Clients clearly understand the content and cost breakdown for each service

  • Improve transparency and build trust

 

 

3. AI Support for Easier File Creation

We are launching new AI-powered tools to help you quickly and easily create new quotation files:

  • Get sentence suggestions and format templates to boost writing efficiency

  • Save time and effort during the transition process

 


 

Transition Plan & Support for Existing Files

We understand that adapting to the new system and creating new files takes time, so we’ve put the following transition measures in place:

  • After the update goes live, existing quotation files will be locked as read-only (they can no longer be edited – see sample image below)
  • Until you create new files, you may continue using the old files for quotations (since quotations must still be presented alongside a file)
  • Within 30 days after the system goes live, you must create new files for each of your offered services
  • After the 30-day period, you will not be able to quote for any service that does not have a new file created
