2. Frequently Asked Questions

What are booklice, and why do they appear?
Booklice are typically observed on walls as small, dark specks that move slowly. They commonly thrive in damp, dark, and poorly ventilated environments. Conditions such as newly renovated properties, excessive humidity, water leakage or past flooding, and prolonged periods without sunlight or adequate airflow all promote their growth and reproduction.

What are the characteristics of woodworms, and how do they invade?
Woodworms are approximately 2–3 mm in size and are dark red in color. They, along with their eggs, tend to hide within wooden materials or in the layers of plywood.

How can these pests be controlled? Is diluted bleach water effective?
While diluted bleach water may temporarily repel these pests, it does not provide a permanent solution. If the situation does not improve, please consult a professional for effective treatment.
