At Toby, we understand that many customers may feel uncomfortable with aggressive sales tactics when seeking beauty and wellness services. To address this, Toby has introduced the "No Hard Sell" Certification, allowing customers to easily identify salons, massage centers, and other service providers that do not engage in aggressive sales tactics. With this certification, customers can fully relax and enjoy their services!


How to Find "No Hard Sell" Certified Merchants?

🔹 On the Website:

  • When browsing beauty services, go to the left-hand "Quick Filter" menu and check the "No Hard Sell" option.

🔹 On the Mobile App:

  • Tap "Filter", then select "No Hard Sell" to refine your search.
                                       

Toby "No Hard Sell" Certification Standards

To combat common aggressive sales tactics, Toby has set strict standards to ensure a comfortable and pressure-free experience for users. Merchants who receive this certification must sign an agreement with Toby, pledging to follow these four key principles:

Consultations are limited to a maximum of 20 minutes before or after the service.
Only one staff member is allowed to provide service consultation to a customer at any time.
No sales discussions (e.g., mentioning package deals or pricing) during the service itself.
Respect for customer decisions – If a customer declines twice (e.g., says, "I’ll think about it" or "No, thank you"), the merchant must immediately stop any sales attempts.


What to Do If You Encounter a "No Hard Sell" Merchant Engaging in Aggressive Sales?

If you experience aggressive sales tactics at a certified "No Hard Sell" merchant, please report it to us:

🚨 Internal Investigation & Certification Removal Policy

  • If a certified merchant receives two valid customer complaints about aggressive sales within three months, their certification will be immediately revoked.
